More Than Half
At Play In Mother Nature's Realm
Situated on over 425-acres of pristine natural landscape overlooking Kootenay Lake, Kokanee Springs Resort has been a sanctuary of fresh mountain air, quiet idyllic charm and bucket-list-worthy golf for over 50 years. The resort's location is truly special and, some people insist, magical.
Neighbouring the town of Crawford Bay, Kootenay Lake, and at the edge of wilderness, Kokanee Springs Resort is the ultimate nature escape and perfect setting for your family's retreat.
The reimagining of Kokanee Springs includes 27 private, fully-serviced and forested RV sites, 36 fully-serviced rental RV campsites as well as future development of 19 forested cabins. A planned new amenity zone features world class resort fun sure to involve everyone.
Construction of the RV resort facilities - private RV sites (Bluffs) and rental RV sites (Meadows) - is expected for completion in time to enjoy a fair bit of the 2022 summer season - register for the Summer Sales Launch to receive an Invitation.
A short bike ride down the road is the charming town of Crawford Bay on the shores of Kootenay Lake. Here you'll discover an array of artisans, weavers, metal forgers, broom makers, potters and others. You'll also find the local market grocery store, a collection of eclectic cafes, Red's Bakery, liquor store, gas station and The Hub Restaurant.
Extraordinary Golf In A Cinematic Setting
Elevated tee decks offer majestic views of Kokanee Springs expansive fairways and the Kokanee Glacier. Towering evergreens and old growth cedars line the resort, giving shade to groomed walking and biking paths spanning the distance of the 18-hole golf course and connecting guests and residents to all the amenities the resort has to offer.
Resort Loop, Area Nature Hikes and Biking Trails
From the resort's loop trail, to trails heading into the mountains, or a meandering stroll along the Crawford Bay Wetland Trail, there are endless opportunities to enjoy the mountains, the lakeshore and the surrounding forests.
Pilot Bay Provincial Park
The park is located on Kootenay Lake. The bay at the park is good for swimming and fishing. In the park (274-hectares) there are many hiking trails around including Pilot Peninsula Trail (12.8km round-trip shoreline hike with access to multiple beaches). The iconic Pilot Bay Lighthouse is a favourite spot for photo buffs.
New Restaurant Open
Kokanee Springs' new restaurant, REFRESH KITCHEN & BAR is now open, replacing the resort's former restaurant Woods' Pumphouse Grill. The focus is fast casual with comfort foods we all crave – healthy bowls, wood-fired pizzas, charcuterie boards, abundantly fresh salads, refreshing beverages, modern cocktails, and signature specialties with convenient delivery service to your villa, or to your room at The Lodge (future RV site and cabin delivery too).
NEW Marina & Beach Club
A new Beach Club and Marina just down the lake in planned to open in 2023. This will be a favourite spot for our resort residents and guests to socialize on the shores, in and on the serene, glacial waters of Kootenay Lake and Crawford Bay.
